ICIE provides access to innovative ideas and scholarly work through National and International networks of innovators and leaders in higher education; with an opportunity to advance individual research in the field of innovation in higher education through the exchange of scholarly work via various publications of ICIE and the conferences. Exercising a leadership role in higher education through participation in ICIE sponsored events, projects and the ICIE organization itself.
Individual membership is for those that hold administrative and/or academic responsibilities in institutions of higher education and organizations related to the goals of higher education and for those interested in promoting innovation in higher education.
